We in Moonwater are absolutely heartbroken, angry, upset, and disgusted by the continuous abuse of people of color in America. The appalling nature of this country's continuous choice to value authority over humanity only enables the injustices that have occurred far too often for far too long in America.

We have discussed how we, white males who can live comfortably and without fear because of the unfair and unjust privileges that our skin color gives us, can help make a difference and be allies to to the grieving communities. With this song, we are making an open donation to Campaign Zero in an effort to move this conversation forward so we, as a country, can make the necessary social justice change that is desperately needed and long overdue. We will be collecting 100% of the revenue from this song and matching the proceeds as our donation to Campaign Zero.

We feel for those who have been affected by all forms of racial prejudice. We mourn for the wrongful murders of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Elijah McClain and the countless others who have had their lives stolen from them. We cannot allow this to continue on any longer.
